These days we don't really care about our toys....Isaac loves to get into all the cupboard and pull things out to play with.

My grandma. Isaac loves his grandma and the great bread that she makes (as you can see in the below picture). My mom had to make 3 or 4 batches of bread for all of us so we could take it home with us. Her bread is the best.

Grandpa and Isaac...My dad loves his first grandchild. Isaac loved crawling on my dad tugging on his mustache and trying to take off his glasses. My dad had a black eye from a surgery he had on his forhead.

While we were in Colorado Brian my dad and his two friends went ice fishing. This is what Brian was dressed in due to the weather. My dad and his friends said it was the coldest it had even been for them and they have been going for years. Brian was also blessed with the great luck of getting the first fish. As he called it beginners luck.

Isaac loved spending time with Aunt Britta and Uncle Mike. You can tell that these two will be great parents someday. Britta and Mike spent the week with us up in Fort Collins. It was great to see them and to spend time with them. We really miss them.

Watch this interaction......My dad was taking a nice afternoon nap and Isaac wanted to play so he went up to him and woke him up..all the rest of us have learned not to wake up dad while he is sleeping.....Isaac is way more brave than we all are.....he did get a better reception than the rest of us would have.

Issac and my cousin Matthew. Isaac's middle name is Matthew after my cousin. Matt has a love for dogs and Isaac is following in his foot steps. You should see Isaac with our dog Madsen. He crawls all over him and pulls on his hair. At least the dog loves the attention.

We had Christmas night with my Uncle Bob, Aunt Janice and cousins Jenny, April, and Matt. Aunt Janice is the best cook. She always has a great meal.
Great Grandma and Isaac getting ready for a afternoon nap. How sweet is that!

I really do miss my grandparents so very much. They have been such a wonderful part of my life and I wish that we lived closer to them and could see them more often. They loved having Isaac around and were amazed at how much he moves around.

The first Christmas.........after arriving in Colorado we made our way up to the great grandparents house for a late brunch and gift exchange. Issac had so much fun with the boxes and tearing the paper off the gifts. His uncle Mike and aunt Britta have taken the responsibility of giving Isaac his music and art gifts from now until he is a teenager. I think that Isaac is musically inclined. He loves to make rythm on anything he can get his hands on.

Here we are arriving at Denver International Airport on Christmas Day. It was amazing how well Isaac traveled this time. It was also amazing how busy the airport was. Isaac's grandpa and grandma gave him his cute santa suite to wear on the airplane. He was the hit of the airport. We were stopped often while people commited on his outfit.

I know that these pictures are a little bit late.....but as the saying goes better late than never. Brian, Isaac, and I took at trip to Chicago for the annual Christmas get together with Trinty friends. We picked up Chad on the way and had a good time driving together. In Chicago we went to dinner at the Walnut room (a resturant in Macy's in down town Chicago). They have a tree in the room that stretches to the celing. This year it was decorated by Martha Stewart (see picture below). After that we went to Wicked a great broadway play and then made our way home in the huge snow storm. Isaac and Henry stayed at home with a Trinity student who watched them. Good time!
