Great Grandpa Pete even dressed up for the night!

Isaac's, Brian, and Kirsten's pumpkins

Happy Halloween 2009. Isaac was a spider since he is in love with the movie Charlot's Web. (the real animal one) He picked the costume out himself. He really did not like the pumpkin carving at all this year. He kept saying "what is that bad smell mom??" and would not come near us as we carved. We went to my grandparents house to carve the pumpkins and then go trick or treating. My parents and grandparents wanted to see Isaac go out since they had missed out last year. Isaac loved the trick or treating and loved to yell "trick or treat" as soon as the door was opened. In fact it was mom and dad that gave up long before Isaac did. We were out for over an hour. The only glitch of the evening was the boy dressed like a wolf. He scared Isaac and had him crying. That night we ended up praying for the wolf like only a 2 year old can:0)

So 22 inches of snow in October why are we in Colorado again???? We shoveled 4 different times in a 24 hour period. Isaac loved to play in the snow and even found his car under all the snow. Luckily this is Colorado and it is suppose to be in the 70's in the coming week.

While Carolyn was here we made a trip to Celestial Seasons tea company. They made us wear hair nets and of course we had to have Madsen experience the fun.

We have been doing some baking lately. Isaac helped me make his first Cherry pie. My mom, Isaac, Carolyn, and I also spent some time making ghosts for my moms sales associates for halloween. We got very messy but had lots of fun. (I took a picture of the ghosts for my sister in law Lindsay so she can make them next year with the boys!)

Our new house. The Lord has provided a great blessing for us through the Christensen's. They are in Florida for 7 months and have let us stay in their home while they are away. It is a beautiful home and more than we will ever be able to afford. My favorite part so far is the view out the back of this home. It looks directly on the mountains. Each day I am reminded how little we are and how big God is. What an amazing blessing.

One last trip to the Cider Mill with Aunt Lindsay, Zachery, and Bryce.

Bees always a part of the cider mill experience.
Doughnuts and cider what could be better??

The Cider process!

Carolyn and I went to the cider mill and took these pictures to bother Brian. He is in Colorado in seminary and loves the cider mill. It is one of his favorite fall activities to do. I would have to say that I love it too and will really miss it is Colorado.
